Description of Problem:

Evolution Mail crashes on starup with a segmentation fault , summary
page comes up anyways.


Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. start evolution 


Actual Results:
Gnome  Bug Windows pops up with PID saying that the process encountered
a seg fault ... 

Expected Results:
Mail window

How often does this happen?
Every time ... 

Additional Information:
This problem is specific to a single user.  strace shows that evolution
starts reading in
the mail folders  and gets stuck at
~/evolution/local/Inbox/subfolders/personal.mail
(personal.mail is a folder created by the user)

unfortunately the backtrace doesn't provide any clues.
