Last modified: 2013-09-10 13:59:35 UTC
Description of Problem: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. connect to an IMAP server (e.g. Cyrus IMAPD) that is configured to show the fist level of folders under INBOX as adjacent to INBOX (alternate view in Cyrus) 2. Attempt to create a subfolder of any folder listed Actual Results: Alert: "Cannot create specified folder: Generic Error" Expected Results: Create the folder How often does this happen? Everytime Additional Information: Tested against Cyrus IMAPD 2.1.9
Please resubscribe to folders.
Reopen this report if that doesn't work for you.
Tried unsubscribe/subscribe on all folders several times. Tried deleting account and recreating account all together. Tried deleting all evolution settings and starting from scratch. Then tried unusubscribe/subscribe again. Still get "Generic error" when attempting to create sub folder. I have been using the trick of creating the folder at the root level, and moving it into the folder I want it to be in mentioned in another bug report related to the UW IMAP server. I think the alternate namespace of cyrus corresponds to the same namespace as the UW IMAP server, so maybe this is the same bug.
