Description kiowa 2002-04-18 13:18:33 UTC
How about implementing a tree-structured body for easier reading of a replied message.
For example you have a mail looking like this:

> Hi there you cabbage
>> My name is Eris
Fnord

You could then click on the ">" and hide the lines beginning with that char. This could
enhance readability of some mailing-lists with several replies to random bits of bodies.

we accept patches :-)

the thing is, I don't think you can do that with plain HTML. We'd
probably have to support JavaScript or something and that is never
going to happen most likely.

anyways, this is at least partially a GtkHTML feature request.

reassigning to the gtkhtml hackers since it's really up to them to
implement this feature, no way in hell the mailer can do it.

probably should just close it as WONTFIX, but we all know larry likes
pain. He might feel up to implementing this (hah, yea right).
