Description christopher 2002-04-03 21:50:36 UTC
Description of Problem:

Having a large number of receipients for an email (ie eighty or so) - for
example when replying to a mail sent a large group - makes the 'To' or 'cc'
text box for receipients become unusable.
Hitting the right arrow to move the caret a single character takes a very
long time to actually work. This is a big issue if I want to remove a
couple of receipients from a long list.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Send an email to yourself with a big list of receipients, some of whom
are in your addressbook.
2. Hit reply to the email, replying to all receipients
3. Try to remove a couple of receipients from the list

Actual Results:

Takes forever to move a single character - in effect, the operation is
impossible.

Expected Results:

I should be able to remove recipients at will.

How often does this happen?

Every time.

Additional Information:

I'm using Evo over IMAP, but that probably makes no difference.

this is either an addressbook bug or an EEntry bug
Comment 2 Chris Toshok 2002-08-15 23:20:52 UTC
still happens in 1.2, reassigning to me.

Closing RESOLVED FIXED.

Just checked with 87 recipients (2047 chars) and there is no delay
beyong normal text editing. Behaves very fine.
