Description ian 2002-01-08 19:46:17 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

If you have "sendmail" selected as your transport, you'd expect to be able
to send mail to local sendmail aliases (or local users), but Evolution
thinks it knows better.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Choose sendmail as your transport
2. Set up a local sendmail alias called "friends"
3. Try to send mail to "friends"

Actual Results:

Evolution complains that "friends" has no "@" in it.

Expected Results:

Evolution cannot know what aliases sendmail will think are valid.

How often does this happen?

Repeatably.

Additional Information:

Patch attached.
