Description Matt Pavlovich 2001-12-11 17:00:19 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Major
Version: 1.0
Synopsis: Simultaneous Evolution and other IMAP client cause errors w/ Evolution
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer

Description:
An open IMAP INBOX folder does not refresh the messages properly if
another IMAP client
is connected to the same folder, and messages are
recieved/deleted/moved.

Scenario--
Evolution connected to an IMAP INBOX
Netscape Mail connect to same IMAP INBOX

*New message comes in, displays in Netscape Mail, but not Evolution
*Message is deleted from INBOX from Netscape Mail, message appears to be
present in
Evolution, but attempts to open message result in "Fetch" error. --
Message should
be marked as deleted, or removed from message listing
*Message is recieved to IMAP folder. Netscape Mail shows new message,
Evolution does
not. -- Attempts to get messge by hitting Send/Receive do not update
messages.
Evolution must be closed and re-opened for messages to be displayed.
*Message is moved to other folder in Netscape Mail does not delete/mark
delete message
from INBOX in Evolution. Message does appear in moved-to folder in
Evolution.
