Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

I was editing the "Notes" field on the "Details" tab, copy and pasting,
typing, and moving around in the field a fair bit when it suddenly locked
up. The cursor vanished and all of Evolution became unresponsive
(althought the Email view would still repaint, unlike the Contacts).

I am unable to reproduce this by the same sort of activity. It has only
happened once but I lost a substantial amount of text when it did happen.
Btw, I have tried putting in far more text than I did when it crashed, so
the size of the note is not the issue.

I had to use "killev" to shut everything down.

Has this ever repeated for you?
Comment 2 fdjsouthey 2002-05-30 01:01:20 UTC
No, but I rarely engaged in similar behaviour. Perhaps just close it
and I will reopen if I see it again.
