Description mosborne 2001-11-07 05:25:01 UTC
Package: Evolution
Priority: Major
Version: 0.99.0
Synopsis: Cannot use e-mail addressed simply as 'joe' without @domain
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer

Description:
When using evolution on a local e-mail system, there doesn't appear to
be any way to send a mail message to a recipient unless their e-mail
address has an @ in it.

For example, trying to send to just 'joe' gives invalid recipient while
joe@ does not. This is very confusing to people who are used to simply
just typing in a person's name to sent them an e-mail.

Can this restriction be removed?
