Description Doug Elznic 2001-10-16 06:24:45 UTC
Hello,
It would be nice to have an interface to select which key is used when
sending mail to a user with multiple gpg keys.

would be solved by anna's patch for bug 206574; adding dependency.

Hi,

I just wonder what the status of this feature request is.

In addition, I would like to know if, with this patch, it will be possible to
_freely_ choose a key, right now Evolution only selects the one that matches the
primary email address of the send-to user. I would like to select any key with
which evolution signs a messge by myself.

Ideally the key to use would be stored with the contact information of the user,
like i.e. in kaddressbook/kmail. (compare to Bug 73645)

Thank you

Probably this is blocking bug 209038 as well.
Comment 7 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:45:29 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
