Description Dick Porter 2001-07-30 09:35:29 UTC
When I read a large threaded mailbox (such as linux-kernel), each time I
delete the current message and move to the next, the message list view
re-orders itself. It also seems to step over some branches.

This behaviour has improved slightly since 0.11 - when the message view
falls off the bottom of the list, it now automatically selects the bottom
message. Unfortunately this means that it starts showing threaded messages
in reverse order!

Would it be possible to thread the mailbox just once when it's loaded (or
when new mail arrives), and just step through in list display order?

(I called this a 'Major' bug because it has a big impact on keyboard
navigability.)
