Description Konrad Neuwirth 2000-10-16 10:49:18 UTC
When opening evolution over an OpenSSH connection (thus the DISPLAY being :10.0)
and at the same time being logged in over the system console, the subwindows of
the mail component are opened on the system console, whereas the shell does open
on the correct display.

On switching to another component, it's new windows are additionally opened on
the console display, generating even more interesting window collections there.

This should be (almost) fixable with the new multi-display support in OAF, but I
am haven't looked at that yet.
Comment 2 Ben FrantzDale 2001-07-12 18:51:28 UTC
I'm having the same problem in a few manifestations:
Computer A is the computer I run evolution from. Computer B is another
computer.

I ssh from B to A and run evolution while logged into A directly.
Evolution opens fine but *sometimes* when I open up a composor window
the To and CC lines are shown on A rather than B.

I ssh from B to A and run evolution. Then I run evolution directly
from A. The second copy of evolution is displayed on B.
Comment 3 Ettore Perazzoli 2001-10-27 23:51:39 UTC
Post-1.0 as I am not trusting the way OAF does it and there is no time
to add support in Evolution for it.
