Please describe the problem:
when opening a file I have the following msg appearing :"L'ouverture 
de « C:\Documents and Settings\R?my\.thumbnails\normal\gimp-thumb-4088-
5d9a1fe6 (invalid encoding) » en écriture a échoué : Invalid argument" . Then 
I validate and I can keep on working on the file. There is no bugs after that.
THen, when I decide to record my work I have the following msg 
arriving : "L'ouverture de « C:\Documents and Settings\R?
my\.thumbnails\normal\gimp-thumb-4088-5d9a1fe6 (invalid encoding) » en 
écriture a échoué : Invalid argument" which the same msg.
No thumbnails are appearing.
I have tried uninstall gimp & reinstall it... it is still doing the same.
I was having different versions of gimp previously which were always working 
properly. I never had such msg in the past. I can send you screen capture if 
you whish.
