Description Corey Woodworth 2005-04-02 13:24:34 UTC
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu

To edit a brush i have to click on a brush in the toolbox, then click on the
open brushes dialog box, and then click on edit brush. Seems like one too many
steps to me. (Sure i could instead open the brush dialog from the menu and then
click edit brush, but my point is often it is convinent to just edit the current
brush without opening the brushes dialog which I otherwise won't need). How
about making it possible to right click the brush in the toolbox and get a drop
down with an option to edit that brush. If the brush can't be editied it should
have an option to create a new brush and automatically open the brush editor for
the new brush.

I agree that brush editing it too difficult. How to fix this is another story
though and I don't think the solution proposed here is a good one. The brush
preview in the toolbox is an optional user interface element and should IMO be
removed from the default setup.
