GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 172097
Camera Interface Issues
Last modified: 2006-01-10 02:02:04 UTC
I just compiled latest f-spot and decided to see if I could hook up to my camera. When the camera was not hooked up, it correctly said there was no camera. Once I hooked up my camera, it brought up the dialog to import photos, but no photos were there. When I looked at /var/log/messages, I got this: Mar 30 08:20:19 codewarrior kernel: usb 2-1: usbfs: interface 0 claimed while 'mono' sets config #1
hmmm, seems like i get that error with any camera interface. Seems like it's just f-spot that doesn't want to show my camera.
does gphoto2 works ? Which kernel do you use ? Which version of libgphoto@ ?
gphoto2 seems to work fine, I can list photos, list summary, etc. Which command is f-spot trying to do? Kernel: 2.6.11-1.1363_FC4 Libgphoto2: 2.1.5
Does this problem still exist?
