GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 170661
Colour mismatch in background of icon in dialog
Last modified: 2011-07-10 02:43:44 UTC
This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/7352 "The netstatus dialog has a large icon of two monitors that flash to indicate incoming and outgoing network traffic. The background colour of this doesn't match the background of the rest of the dialog. I'll attach a screenshot to demonstrate. https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/attachment.cgi?id=1567 Screenshot of problem." "I was trying the various themes installed on my Hoary computer, and this problem is more visible on my machine with the Clearlooks theme, closely followed by the Human theme. For all the other themes the problem seems non-existent; or at lest barely visible."
I confirm this bug for the clearlooks theme (but not for any other one). This is not really obvious however. You must look closely.

This is still the case in Intrepid and best view with a dark theme.
gnome-netstatus development has been stalled [1]. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing the bugs as WONTFIX. [1] http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2011-June/msg00073.html
