Description JM López-Cepero 2005-03-10 14:37:34 UTC
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Hoary

It used to be possible to set the zoom to 100% by pressing 1. Now it is indeed
possible, but you first have to _click_ on the image. Rolling the mouse wheel
does not solve it; until you left or right click on the image, pressing 1 does
nothing. From the moment you have clicked, though, it all works OK.

I find it rather irritating, because it forces you to use both mouse and
keyboard. Besides, it is counterintuitive, as I would expect that pressing 1
would always work (specially after having zoomed in/out with the mouse wheel). I
would love to see EOG return to the old behaviour.

This also applies to other binds such as + and -
The problem, or part of it, is that by default the focus of new EOG window is on
the menubar.

Workaround for the moment: After opening new window, press tab to change the
focus to the image.

Tested on EOG 2.10.2

Fixed in HEAD. Default focus is given to imagem when viewing a single image. On
image collection, default focus is given to image list for rapid switching.
