When I open an image, I can't "scroll" to the next image in the directory, a
very useful feature apps like kuickshow have and it'll be nice if EOG could have
this as well. I'm talking about a "Next image" and "Previous image" buttons
somewhere in the window, which will "scroll" the images using alphabetical (or
some other) order.

i think this is a duplicate of #159323.

I agree.  EOG should have next and previous buttons as it would greatly improve
usability.
