Description thundersage 2005-03-06 22:27:33 UTC
Clicking on FILE - OPEN or FILE - SAVE crashes the program. Error first reads
as: "Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed:
(glyphs->num_glyphs > 0) aborting...", and only option is to click OK. After
clicking OK get another error window with title "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime
Library" and contains message "Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.2
\bin\gimp-2.2.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it
in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more
information" with the only button as "OK" showing. Clicking OK then closes
GIMP.

Most probably a duplicate of bug #161797. What version of GTK+ are you using?

No feedback from the bug reporter, but let's assume this is the problem dealt
with in bug #161797.
