the issue is hebrew names in GIMP 2.2.3 with GTK+ 2.6.2   ...  if the name is 
ONLY hebrew the SW cuts out in many cases the last letter. THIS IS NOT 
CRITICAL but should help isolate "problems across in hebrew names..  see also 
138299 ..  Its not critical becuse if you add the extension which is allways 
english then the problem disappears.

see below a few examles

exmple 1 - tring to save with out a file type - error message missing last 
letter
Example 2 - While saving with file type but not in file name ( I typed the 
name after sellecting the file type _the progress bar is missing the letter
Example 3 - after completting the save the title bar show the shortned name
Example 4 - surpize - suprize - when saving now the GTK+ dialog shows the full 
name.
