remote files deleted by DND to the trash applet are not refreshed

Not sure if that's a trashapplet or nautilus issue, but since the nautilus bugzilla is bug flooded ... This bug has been opened here: https://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/6121 "If you open a remote location in Nautilus, right-click on a file, and select "delete", the file is removed, and the window is refreshed correctly. However, if you drag a file from a remote location to the trash icon, the file is removed but the window is not refreshed, so the file still appears in the window (although it has well been removed)."
As far as I can tell this is not caused by trashapplet. I don't know the exact internals of nautilus, but I thought it is supposed to refresh on filesystem change. Or is there a way to 'tell' nautilus/gnomevfs to reload? If the above is not the case, this bug should be reassigned to nautilus.

I can confirm this bug. It happens every time I drag an item to the trash applet in the panel. The items are not removed from the desktop or the nautilus window. This is on Ubuntu hoary PPC. Gamin version 0.0.26 and nautilus 2.10/
ok, for me this turned out to be an issue with the inotify patch in my custom built kernel. Using the stock ubuntu 2.6.11 kernel patched w/ inotify 0.19 I have no problems.
reassigning to trashappplet: <alex> well <alex> internally the move to trash is done as a move operation <alex> and all move operations that nautilus do are tracked, such that changes introduced by them are made visible in the ui <alex> in the trash applet case all the trashing is done by the applet i think <alex> so, nautilus has no idea that some other process changed the ftp directory <alex> It would be cooler if the trash applet had a "delete" drop target instead, and nautilus did the trashing. <alex> federico posted about that once
