I would very much like to see CVS support in GEdit, so it could be used to code
big projects with.

I agree with you.
I think it should not be too difficult to write a plugin for basic CVS support.

We are moving all the request for plugins that we don't plan to add to gedit
itself on live.gnome.org/Gedit.
