Please describe the problem:
when I click a file (personnal folder/1.jpg) in the tree view I got an "unable
to display root/1.jpg no viewer installed".
when i go into the folder (right panel) and click the file is displays ok (using
EOG 2.8.2)
It works well with other mime-type. eg: content of *.txt are displayed in the
right panel

Steps to reproduce:
1. click *.jpg in the tree view
2. 
3. 


Actual results:
I got an "unable to display root/1.jpg no viewer installed"

Expected results:
I expected the file to be opened with eog 2.8.2

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
debian ; fr; I got two entries in the "open with" tab associated with "jpeg
image":firefox and EOG (default)

Same problem with *.php (1 viewer "text editor"),*.svg (2 viewers), *.[zip;tgz]

It works with *.htm, *.txt, *.pdf, *.mml (viewer= "text editor")

2.9 says "The location is not a folder."
