Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16
Package: gedit
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.8.1 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Gentoo Linux
Synopsis: Icons disappear after attaching and detaching toolbars.
Bugzilla-Product: gedit
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
The icons (New, Open, Save, etc.) disappear, along with their text (e.g.
the actual "New", "Open" writing). Their spaces remain.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enable detacheable toolbars in Menu and Toolbars settings.
2. Detach the toolbar in gedit.
3. Move it around, and reattach it a few times. The icons and their text
become white.

Actual Results:
No icons or text.

Expected Results:
Both will remain.

How often does this happen?
When I dock and undock the toolbar, but usually it takes more than one
time.

Additional Information:
Linux RBOX 2.6.9-gentoo-r14 #7 Wed Jan 12 16:12:28 EST 2005 x86_64 AMD
Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux. Running no
"XTREME" CFLAGS and using stable branch.
Does not happen with Anjuta, which also makes use of docking toolbars.
Minimizing and then maximizing the program again does nothing.
