Description Paolo Maggi 2005-01-13 18:39:58 UTC
For a user without specific knowledges about Linux/UNIX (for example, my wife
who reported to me this problem), the "Open With" dialog you get when you select
the "Open with Other Application" menu item it is very difficult to use.
She, for example, asked to me: "What are these weird directories (it was
/usr/bin) with only three letters? How can I know which program I have to run
reading this long list of weird names? You make me use this strange Operating
System that is not designed for people like me"...
For this reason, I propose to add a list of known applications (like the "Run
Application" one) to the "Open With" dialog.
