Description Joel Parker 2005-01-12 20:43:14 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When an icon is placed on the desktop automatically by another app (like
downloading something to the desktop from Firefox), the icon will often be
placed along the edge of the screen so that the text runs off the edge.

See attached screenshot

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set Firefox to download files to the desktop
2. Download file

Actual results:
The icon is placed along the edge of the screen, with the text overrunning to
the left.

Expected results:
The icon should be placed in a column with all my other icons.

Does this happen every time?
Very often
