Epiphany dies importing Galeon bookmarks.
Last modified: 2005-02-26 22:30:59 UTC
Distribution: Debian 3.1 Package: epiphany Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.9.3 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: Epiphany dies importing Galeon bookmarks. Bugzilla-Product: epiphany Bugzilla-Component: Bookmarks Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.8.0) Description: Description of the crash: Epiphany dies importing Galeon bookmarks. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Open Bookmarks window. 2. Click "Import", select "Galeon", click "OK". 3. Send a bug report. Expected Results: You know what I expect ;-) How often does this happen? 100% reproducible. Additional Information: I'll see whether I can trim down the bookmarks file that triggers this. At the moment it's big and unwieldy, not to mention that it contains a few private entries ... Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/epiphany' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". Created attachment 35677 [details] Trimmed-down bookmarks file
OK, I trimmed the bookmarks file down (a lot; no further deletions are possible without triggering it) and attached it to this bug.
This seems to be caused by folder with empty name: <folder folded="yes"><title></title>
Fixed in cvs; thanks for the bug report!
