Description geoff young 2005-01-02 20:01:52 UTC
I'm now using gthumb to view images from two different digital cameras. since
I've had one longer than the other, the image numbers interlace, giving a sort
order in gthumb that doesn't match the real chronological order.

it is a simple matter to extract the exif data from the image and manually touch
the file using the image create date so that 'ls -lt' presents the images is the
proper chronological order. it would be nice if gthumb could do that too.

alternatively, gthumb could extract out the exif data and choose to sort using
that as well. but a simple mtime sort option would be sufficient for my needs :)

thanks, and wish I could offer an enhancement patch myself. gthumb is a great
tool :)
