Description APF 2004-12-29 06:44:40 UTC
As GNOME is similar in many (though, admittedly, not all) regards to the classic
Apple Mac OS' interface, can application drop-down menus be moved to reside on
top of the desktop screen?

This would serve three major purposes:

1.  Provide a familiar transition to anyone moving to GNOME from Mac OS;
2.  Save screen real-estate;
3. Apple's design was proven by their research to be more ergonomically efficient.

Hope you can consider this, maybe even as an option only that can be configured
according to the individual user's preference.
