GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 161642
problems with renaming a series in a vfat filesystem
Last modified: 2005-01-11 16:29:47 UTC
If I'm working in a vfat filesystem there is a problem with the rename series command. It happens that the special character %d puts the time-date in such a format that is incompatible with the vfat fs: I think that vfat doesn't accept the semicolon ":", so that in a vfat fs it's impossible to put the %d date-time expecification. I suggest that the semicolons be replaced with another char that vfat accepts. (this bug was submitted also throu the debian bug system)
