Description Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2004-11-24 11:46:14 UTC
Go to:
http://www.virginradio.co.uk/thestation/listen/index.html

And try and add add one of those URL's to Rhythmbox. They do not play, I am
guessing due to rb not handling icecast playlists.
Comment 1 Gabriel de Perthuis 2005-01-20 22:58:33 UTC
I can play them (once I had associated them with rhythmbox), but they are
dropped quit soon (after 1:30 at most). The error message (into English) is:
unexpected end of stream.
It doesn't really depend on the throughput - playback starts faster with a
higher one, that's all.

Rhythmbox should fallback to silence and try to fill its buffer again.
Comment 2 Gabriel de Perthuis 2005-01-20 23:04:44 UTC
Additionally it could double buffer size, making it a per-station setting.
