Description of the crash:
When I try to put a file or delete a file from the Desktop, it either
update/refresh.  For example, when I download a file to my Desktop, it
takes like a while for it to appear on my Desktop.  It seems to me that
it doesn't refresh that fast.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Download or put a file on your Desktop 
2. Delete a file on your Desktop
3. 

Expected Results:
When I put or delete a file on my Desktop or in a directory it should
appear or disappear right away.

How often does this happen?
Sometimes it works and sometimes this happens often

I'm not sure to understand the issue. That's a long delay before getting the
file on the desktop ? Is fam running ?

Bug 172741 was against 2.10 (also under Ubuntu) with the same stack trace.  I'll
paste their description of what they did here and reopen since it may be enough
to answer the question:


Description of the crash:
I had a memory pen mounted and i unpluged it but i don't umount the
device ... the trash contain the trash of the memory pen and i tried to
remove but nautilus crash... memory pen trash still in the global trash
and don't let me delete...

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. plug memory pen
2. unplug memory pen but not umount the device
3. try to remove the trash

How often does this happen?
