GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 156922
gucharmap should not default on the language that is alphabeticall first in the script view
Last modified: 2005-07-22 19:08:59 UTC
gucharmap should not default on the language that is alphabeticall first in the script view. Instead, it should find the script based on the language of the locale (preferrably using a translatable string that is not displayed to the user).
To make it clearer, for "en" it should default on Latin, for "ru" on Cyrillic, for "az_AZ" on Latin, but for "az_IR" on Arabic.
No, it should default to the code page/script you were viewing last. Duplicate of bug 140414
