rhythmbox exits when notification area is removed from panel

This is Debian bug <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=264076> - get a panel with a notification area - launch rhythmbox and wait for its icon to appear in the NA - play a song - remove the NA area from the panel, rhythmbox exits If you're not playing a song this does not seem to happen.
