Description APF 2004-09-29 09:26:21 UTC
One of Windows Explorer's many limitations is that the user cannot print a hard
copy of a directory listing or output it as a text file for easy e.-mailing. It
would be lovely ifa hardcopy could be printed with the various levels of
detail, depending on the view selected.

This is one of the oldest Nautilus bug. Is this really worth providing? It's already possible to either copy/paster or drag and drop a list of files to get a list of URI or paths in a document or an email.

It's possible to create a screenshot using gnome-screenshot and a nicely sized compact view as a fallback.

Printing the view w/o the frame limitation but only the paper ones seems doable but arguably useful and not very green :)

What do you think?
