GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 153608
"Delete" or "Move to Trash" options in CD burn window are confusing
Last modified: 2009-07-29 10:47:43 UTC
The Delete and Move to Trash context menu options in the CD burn window suggest that the files are being removed from the filesystem, not just the CD layout. This could certainly confuse new users.
And what do you think the label should be?
Anything that doesn't lead the user to believe they may be deleting the original files. "Remove from Disc" or "Remove from Disc Layout" are about all I've come up with.
Good catch, Nathan! I agree.
Ubuntu bug about that: https://launchpad.net/products/nautilus-cd-burner/+bug/30739
Is anything actually being done to implement this? I see that the last comment is from over two years ago, so please could someone reply with information on what is being done to resolve this bug.
David: If there is no activity it means that nobody works on it. As easy as that. This also applies for any other bug with no activity here. The bug can be resolved by providing a patch (also, same with any other bug).
nautilus-cd-burner has been replaced by Brasero in the GNOME 2.26 release. If your bug still applies to Brasero, please feel free to re-open the bug, and reassign it to brasero itself.
