Click Programs>> Accessories >>a dropdown displays >>click on File
Manager, once the dialog opens >> got to Sites>> Start ...shortcut

Wrong translation for shortcut keys... it should contain what's on the
Spanish kb>> Alt+Inicio instead OF Alt+Home

This is not a translation bug. The string is not translated. It needs to be
internationalized, or it is a GTK error?.

The affected function is gdk_keyval_name, from the gtk+ module.

From doc at
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gdk/gdk-Keyboard-Handling.html#gdk-keyval-name

"Converts a key value into a symbolic name. The names are the same as those in
the <gdk/gdkkeysyms.h> header file but without the leading "GDK_"."

So the name is taken from a constant name.

Browsing more at the code, I arrive at the gdk_keyval_name() function at
gtk+/gdk/x11/gdkkeys-x11.c:1375

it returns:

  return XKeysymToString (keyval);

which comes from X11/Xlib.h

NOTFORUS??

Indeed, this isn't a bug in the translation; it's probably a limitation in GTK+.

If you look at gtk/gtkaccellabel.c, GTK+ already allows for "Shift", "Ctrl", and
"Alt" in accelerator descriptions to be translated by translators so that they
match what's typically printed on those keyboard keys. Those functions should
perhaps be extended to deal with other typical keys as well, such as "Insert",
"Home", "Page Up", "Delete", "End", "Page Down", "Print Screen", etc.
I've filed bug 300224 against GTK+ for this purpose.

In any case, I'm probably not the best person to be the assignee for this
particular bug (and I like to be asked first if I'm going to be marked as
assignee), since I cannot resolve this bug report. I don't mind cc's though.

It's already translated (at least in 2.18, probably eons before).
