Description Keith Lea 2004-09-11 18:30:39 UTC
I think that "volume" is a confusing word to most users for remote folders (that
is, items created by "Connect To Server..."). I suggest "Remote Folder" or
"Network Folder" for sftp:// and related URL's.

(Nautilus refers to them as Volumes in several contexts, such as when attempting
to drag one to the Trash.)

That's the same issue described by bug #159245, at the moment nautilus uses the
same mechanism for both devices and shares.
