Visual artifacts in new thumbnails generated for jpegs and pngs. Old thumbnails
for the same filetypes appear ok. Its just the new ones. 

Thumbnails for other filetypes are appear ok, too.

I'm seeing this too. Can come from a new libpng or something like that.
