GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 150690
Using the tab key autocompletion in the address bar
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Epiphany uses a user's history of visited pages to display addresses in a drop down list in the address bar. As the user types a web address, the list is updated. To choose one of these items, the user has to either use the mouse or the up/down arrows to select the item. This requires a change in hand position from the traditional typing position. Wouldn't it be more efficient if there were tab completion for the address bar? Successive tabs could move down the history list. Just an idea... scott
