GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 148944
Drag-and-drop onto a window in the window selector applet should raise the focus of the window
Last modified: 2018-01-24 13:23:40 UTC
It would be nice for one to have the ability to drag-and-drop items onto the window-selector applet and have the applet raise the focus of the destination window.
This works as requested in any recent Gnome installation.
Oops, my bad : it works with the Window List applet, but not with the Window Selector applet. Re-opening.
It would be nice if instead of simply raising the application, if it would automatically drop the dragged item into the app as well.
Paul: I don't know... Where would it drop the item in the window? There is no way we can guess the right widget.
The Window Selector now uses the new WnckSelector widget from libwnck. Moving bugs to libwnck.
Moving to the right component. Sorry for the spam.
