Description padraig.obriain 2004-07-27 12:21:11 UTC
In keyboard-preferences-properties

When user places focus on the spin button and starts to adjust the
value using the arrow key, for every keypress, the entire label (
description) the widget name and the value is mentioned. The preferable
thing is to mention just the adjusted value after the initial
description.

Does this happen in "Verbose" mode, or also in "default" mode? If it happens
only in verbose and not in default, then this is probably just fine. If it also
happens in the default mode, then I agree it should be fixed. Should be a
simple edit of the default preferences xml file...
Comment 2 remus draica 2004-07-29 13:19:52 UTC
Requiered option should be the gnopernicus' behaviour. If not, please send me
from $datadir/gnopernicus/presentation files default.xml and verbose.xml.
Comment 3 korn 2004-08-02 15:47:05 UTC
Padraig: Remus and Ada aren't seeing this problem, and suspect your default.xml
and verbose.xml files. Can you please both confirm that they are current, and
attach them to this bug?

This bug was originally logged by Hema in Sun's bugtraq system. I just
transferred it to bugzilla. I cannot attempt to reproduce with the setup on my
system at present. Please close if you cannot reproduce.

Hema can repopen if she still experiences the problem.
Comment 5 Alexandra Telescu 2004-08-03 10:34:34 UTC
I can't reproduce it.
Hema, please reopen it if you still have this problem.
