Description of the crash:
Gnome does not load. just get a sort of corrupt X-Windows interface.
Tried updating to GNome 2.6, X-Windows interface not quite as corrupt as
with 2.4.
Since upgrade receive a message on loading about complex keyboard.
KDE works fine
