Description krose 2004-07-06 12:52:36 UTC
I don't understand why there is no option to tell
gnome to leave my damn keybindings alone. I've
been using the same xkb map for the last 6 years,
and now since installing a recent version of
gnome2 on my Debian machine, gnome clobbers my
well-established settings, screwing up my modifier
config. This, like the C-a issue in text boxes
before that was finally fixed, is SO SINGULARLY
ANNOYING that I will commence jumping through
hoops to destroy this behavior until it is
officially fixed. All that is needed is a
checkbox in gconf-editor to disable any hijacking
of the xkb config. GRRRRRR!!

not sure, is that the same problem as described in #143487 ?
Comment 2 krose 2004-12-02 15:37:23 UTC
Yes, this is a duplicate of that bug.
Comment 3 Sebastien Bacher 2004-12-02 15:57:18 UTC
