GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 145281
Move to workspace submenu should contain workspace previews
Last modified: 2020-11-07 12:36:20 UTC
The move to workspace submenu currently contains a list of the workspaces. I think it would be better/nicer/simpler to instead have the workspace preview there such as seen when changing workspaces. The menu items can be layed out using the gtk_menu_attach function.
Created attachment 29149 [details] A rough image of what I mean This is just a gimped up mockup of what I mean, but it should look something like that.
I'm open to this (though should probably get some usability team feedback before deciding for sure), if someone wants to code it we can try it out and see how it works.

-> ASSIGNED because I think I will work on this next, when my life gets a bit less busy and FUSA has its two major bugs sorted. This may take a month or so. Anyone wanting to take it in the meantime, feel free.
Its kind of like the Metisse "workspaces window menu". I like it.
