Description salahuddin 2004-06-03 06:07:37 UTC
hello

i am using slackware 9.1 in i686
and using gnome 2.4

i use inkscape .38 for vector designing
i have made some wallpaper with it using gnome

u can get it from
http://www.kde-look.org/usermanager/search.php?username=salahuddin66

but some thimes when i made a new svg and save them then it shows me ...when i
access the folder

--------------------------------------------------------
Application "nautilus" (process 1244) has crashed
due to a fatal error.
(Aborted)
---------------------------------------------------------

then all nautilus window gone for 2-3 seconds then all come back to home directory

after refresh it open the folder

but yesterday i have edit one of my svg file using inkscape in kde
after save it, the gradient gone and i fix it and save again then it works fine
and i export to png and upoload in the kde-look

u can get it from
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=13034

but when i try to access the folder where is slakcware_silver.svg (the file)
then it shows same error and all thing gone

i have try this by deleting my user account and made a new one and also with
refresh but nautilus all time fails to open the folder which contails the
slackware_silver.svg

i have successfully open it in gnome with inkscape but and when i try to save as
in another name in another place, then it till fails open the folder

the big problem is when i made chage the x/y position of the wallpaper and
save, it works but after work on the new files when i fix it for 1024*768 and
x/y it fails again...

it shows me same thing rarely when sometimes i give copy and paste

-tell me what i have to do to fix it

freely mail me

Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard
to determine what caused the crash. Please see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi for more information about getting
a useful stack trace.

I can't reproduce the crash with Nautilus 2.6/2.7 - It's likely a bug in librsvg
anyway, but without a stack trace it's impossible to tell.
