1. place 3 icons on the bottom-left  corner of the bottom-edge panel
2. Lock those icons.
3. put one more icon on the panel somewhere in the middle of the panel.
4. Now try to drag that newly placed icon on to the icons which were locked earlier.
4. we can abserve that the locked icons moves aside and gives place for the new one.

I can't reproduce this too with gnome-panel 2.10.1

Can't reproduce either. Closing. Please reopen if you can reproduce with GNOME
2.11 or later.
