Description Peter De Wachter 2004-04-08 22:28:32 UTC
Description of Problem:
I have Nautilus configured to show the count of
items in a folder (I'm not sure if this is the
default). When saving a file in a (closed) folder
on my desktop, the item count is not updated.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Configure Nautilus to show the count of items
in a folder.
1. Make a folder on your desktop. Don't open it.
Nautilus reports this folder contains 0 items.
2. Save a file in this folder using gedit or some
other application.

Actual Results:
Nautilus still says this folder contains no items.

Expected Results:
Nautilus updates the count.

Additional Information:
This works correctly when you're saving to a
folder that's opened.
