Description Frances Keenan 2004-04-01 14:07:20 UTC
Using GOK from CVS HEAD 29th March 2004

-launch GOK
-launch Mouse Preferences
-On the 'Buttons' tab, UI Grab the application
-Click on 'Timeout:' on GOK
Nothing Happens.

Clicking on this within GOK should allow the user to move the slider bar for the
timeout

This is also a problem in the 'Motion' tab for :
Acceleration
Sensitivity
Threshold

Clicking on these features through UI Grab in GOK does nothing

this is a dup; there's already a gok bug about the need for a valuator keyboard.
Note that GOK _does_ attempt to grab focus on any slider whose key is activated,
so it's then easier to branch to Compose and adjust the slider value (IOW the
need to press "TAB" over and over is eliminated). So it's not actually true
that "nothing" happens; focus should go to the slider.

However, for non-focussable sliders, there's nothing GOK can do until GNOME 2.7+.
The valuator keyboard RFE for gok will have to wait for GOK to branch.
