When I try to run Gimp on Windows XP (GTK+ 2) and Gimp reads in the FONTS I get 
this massage:

(gimp-2.0.exe:3268): GLib-CRITICAL **: file gconvert.c: line 498 (g_convert): as
sertion `str != NULL' failed
