Description Rami Valta 2004-03-01 01:32:13 UTC
Currently when you perform a search and change your view in the browser,
the search you did is applied to the new view. This can create some bizarre
situations, e.g. when no songs in the new view match the search. You have
to manually clear the search to see the songs/albums in the view.

Rhythmbox should automatically clear whatever search you may have done when
you switch genres/artists/albums, like it used to in some earlier versions.
This how the bookmark editor in Epiphany works, too, and it does almost the
job as the browser does.

See related bug #135803 <http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135802>
as well.

That's bug #135802, not 803 :)
Comment 2 bryan v 2004-07-31 06:33:06 UTC
I definately agree that this should be done.
